Kickstart your engineering career with Utranazz – the UK’s leading supplier of concrete equipment. We’re looking for a Junior HGV and/or Heavy Plant Engineer/Fitter who’s keen to learn, hands-on, and ready to grow within a highly specialised and rewarding industry.
Whether you're newly qualified, have a few years' experience under your belt, or are transitioning from a similar mechanical or electrical role, this is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and receive ongoing training in concrete machinery, including mixers, pumps, batching plants and silos.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in the service, repair, and maintenance of concrete equipment in our busy Bicester-based workshop.
- Learn to carry out fault-finding on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Support senior engineers on customer site visits, gaining valuable field experience.
- Take part in pre-delivery inspections and equipment testing.
- Progress your skills through on-the-job training and mentoring.
What We’re Looking For:
- Some hands-on experience with HGVs, plant machinery, or similar mechanical equipment (via work, apprenticeship, or training).
- A basic understanding of mechanics, electrics, and hydraulics.
- A keen interest in engineering and a willingness to learn.
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Full UK driving licence.
